I bought this barrel and currently still building so I have not shot my rifle yet. But I have been really happy with all my Aero products I have purchased. This barrel fits great into Enhanced upper made by Aero and I would recommend this product to anyone. They would not be disappointed. (Posted on 8/28/2016)
Shoots 1/2" groups at 50 yds using 69 gr match Review by Kevin

I bought this barrel for an enhanced upper, then had the gunsmith pin/weld a Surefire flash hider to make it legal. At first I was shooting 55 gr 5.56 ball ammo and getting 2" groups at 50 yards, 4" groups at 100. I thought maybe the heat from the pin/weld screwed this barrel up, but then I switched to 69 grain 5.56 match IMI brand and easily shot a bunch of 5-shot groups at 1/2" to 5/8" at 50 yards, with a 3x red dot. The 1/7 twist may not work well with 55 grain ball, but it works great with 69 & 77 grain match. I've only used 5.56, did not try any .223 ammo. I have another factory rifle with 1/9 twist that shoots 55 grain just fine, but not this barrel. Overall, I'm very happy now, I'll just have to burn my cheaper ammo thru another upper as this one prefers the heavier stuff. (Posted on 5/19/2016)
