Description

The VG6 GAMMA 300BLK is a high performance muzzle brake for eliminating recoil. It was designed using state of the art engineering techniques, utilizing CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) and CAE (Computer Aided Engineering). This product is 100% CNC machined for optimal performance.

The VG6 GAMMA 300BLK is a muzzle brake and compensator hybrid. It virtually eliminates recoil and minimizes muzzle movement. The unique combination of both braking and compensating features inspire shooter confidence and allows the shooter to make very fast follow up shots.

The VG6 GAMMA 300BLK has been tuned for versatility as well. The brake has been optimized for 10.5" to 18.5" barrel lengths, but ultra-shorty SBRs and AR-Pistols with shorter barrels and full sized 20" rifles will benefit greatly from the muzzle brake as well.

It worked on my Mutant Review by Big Daddy

My CMMG Mutant (It's an AR15 that takes AK mags and shoot 7.62x39) has the same threading as an AR .308 and .300 blackout barrel. I looked for the proper muzzle break and could not find anything. Most all .308 muzzle devices were designed for that round and were very long and had too many chambers. I guess people were stuck with using them because of the threading. So I saw this and said that is going to work because of the similarities of the .300 BO and 7.62x39. Went to the range today and yes it works perfectly. It doesn't add a lot of length or weight to the barrel and does it's job. About the same signature as a .45ACP. Both me and the guy next to me at the range were firing .45ACP Glocks and the Mutant sounded the same, it was weird, we both fired it and agreed it sounded just like a .45ACP. So it works and is not overbearing wise at the range with concussion and sound. I don't know how it would work on a shorter barrel in 7.62x39 but my thought is that since the .300 BO burns all it's propellant by 9 inches of the barrel this might work well on a pistol/SBR in .300 BO. It's not that it eliminated all the recoil on the Mutant it did a lot, but it eliminated any flip and made the recoil feel like a smooth push, not a jolt. That made follow up shots easier. The workmanship looks top notch and the threads looked sharp, it went on with no issues. You would think this would run a lot more money so the value is there and it works. (Posted on 8/29/2016)
