Account Executive

Reports to: Sales Manager

Aero Precision is searching for a Account Executive to join our team. This position is a key component to the success of our sales department.

Job Description

The Account Executive is responsible for developing strategic relationships with our customers and building the customer base. The account executive is responsible for revenue growth and is expected to increase customer satisfaction.

Minimum Requirements

  • Previous sales experience required. 2 years preferred, 6 months Minimum.

Shipping & Receiving Lead

Reports to: Logistics Manager

Job Description

  • Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment: Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
  • Support the shipment of goods produced and the received goods and supplies to be used in or to aid in the production/storage of goods destined for sale to our customer base.
  • Determine method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.
  • Responsible to make arrangements for pick-up by the carrier.
  • Affixes shipping labels on packed cartons.
  • Assembles cardboard containers or selects preassembled containers.
  • Inserts items into containers, using spacers, fillers, and protective padding.
  • Posts weights and shipping charges, and affixes postage.
  • Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
  • Routes items to correct departments.
  • Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.
  • Must report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
  • Responsible for keeping an adequate supply of shipping materials on hand at all times.
  • May operate tier-lift truck or use hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping-and-receiving platform to storage or work area.
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.

Minimum Requirements

  • 2 years’ experience as Shipping Lead
  • High school diploma
  • Forklift certification

Abilities Required

  • Ability to perform, but not limited to, the following tasks: be familiar with and able to interpret packing slips, enter into the computer the correct information, to acknowledge receipt of the goods into the purchase order and processing database.
  • Must be able to fill out bills of lading and be familiar with various forms that are used and required by the major freight carriers.
  • Must be capable of estimating weight, and use that information to calculate the cost of shipping.
  • Must be familiar with proper packaging methods and able to interpret visual aids used to convey specific packaging requirements.
  • Must be familiar with the most common material handling equipment and be a licensed forklift truck operator.
  • Experience with UPS/FEDEX online software is desirable.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Manufacturing Production Scheduler

Reports to: Purchasing Manager

Aero Precision is searching for a Manufacturing Production Scheduler to join our team. This position is a key component to the success of our manufacturing department.

Job Description

The Manufacturing Production Scheduler is responsible for issuing and tracking work orders and ensuring that required material is supplied to the production floor, as according to the production schedule. This position is also responsible for expediting and prioritizing work orders and coordinating and managing weekly production schedule meetings.

Primary Job Duties

  • Oversee, plan and manage production plans for specific projects and operations through the compilation of customer requirements, engineering designs, specifications, and machining process data schedules.
  • Develop a production forecast to help calculate the production schedule.
  • Oversee the receipt and movement of released project kits to all necessary production, inspection, and test areas as subassemblies or end items are manufactured.
  • Participate in team-coordination by advising procurement on a variety of material requirements, production due dates, and schedule and control primary work assignments to manufacturing activities based upon production line or shop capacity, priority, and due date.
  • Order raw materials needed to support production schedule, raw material inventory management and control.
  • Continuous improvement to manufacturing and shipment schedules, plans, and forecasts as knowledge of production status develops.
  • Manage quality control process and ensure efficient and accurate product production.
  • Interface with manufacturing personnel, purchasing personnel, etc. on material status and production planning issues.
  • Coordinate interdepartmental activity with Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Engineering, Inventory Control, Planning and expedite the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers, and request for shipping orders.
  • Compile estimates for different types of skilled labor and the number of worker-hours required for production operations.
  • Determine the status of work in progress, time required to complete the job, the availability of materials, tools required, and reassess priorities.
  • Project planning, tracking, and management, expedite jobs in progress by any appropriate means.

Job Description

  • Purchase materials in a timely manner and at the lowest cost
  • Maintain records of goods ordered and received
  • Coordinate procurement activities for critical manufacturing products with high value to manufacturing
  • Source vendors of materials, equipment or supplies, and interview them in order to determine product availability and terms of sales
  • Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment
  • Analyze market and delivery systems in order to assess present and future material availability
  • Manage supply base and drive supplier performance
  • Serves as a liaison with vendors for the purpose of monitoring and consolidation of orders for better management of expenses

Minimum Requirements

  • Creation and modification of CNC programs that facilitate the machining of production parts to engineering design.
  • Read, interpret, and work from engineering prints, drawings, sketches and models

CNC Mill Setup Machinist

Reports to: VP of Operations/Shop Foreman

Aero Precision is searching for a CNC Mill Setup Machinist to join our team. This position is a key component to the success of our manufacturing department.

Job Summary

  • Responsible for supporting operators in the training of loading parts, proving programs, operating controls, setting offsets, simple edits, deburring and inspection of quality parts for conformance to requirements.
  • Studies and interprets drawings, manuals, specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations and set up requirements.
  • Measures and marks dimensions and reference points on material or work pieces as a guide for subsequent machining.
  • Detects equipment malfunctions or out of tolerance machining and adjusts machine, within capabilities, controls or control media as required to insure quality of productions. Reports all machine malfunctions to Supervisor.
  • Communicates with management, production control, quality and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues.
  • Responsible for keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly and perform basic preventative maintenance functions on equipment.
  • Within the scope of the job requirements, will be required to adhere and comply with state and federal law, the Company Quality Program and procedures, Company policies and Safety and Environmental Regulations.
  • May perform other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years experience preferred in set-up of 4-axis CNC horizontal milling, and 3-axis CNC vertical milling machines.
  • Knowledge in use of precision measuring instruments and the application of such instruments. Instruments should include but not limited to calipers, ID and OD micrometers, depth gages, indicators and scales.
  • Strong understanding in blue print reading / geometric tolerancing interpretation.
  • Intermediate knowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, fixtures, inserts and other accessories used on various machines.
  • Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Must be able to communicate in English (both written and oral) as it relates to the job.
  • Must be adaptable to a changing work environment, competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
  • Must be willing and able to work flexible shifts and changing work schedules.
  • Must possess basic math skills to include, but not limited to, adding, subtracting, multiplication, division, geometry and algebra for the purpose of calculating material fabrication.
  • CNC programming a plus
  • Past experience with either or both Mazak and Okuma equipment, as well as experience with Mazatrol and/or EIA a plus.

Job Summary

  • Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc.)
  • Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
  • Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
  • Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs
  • Stock and maintain supply rooms
